Could be better. :) I think it's better to have custom designed banner for any case of SL referral link usage :) Using this one (for example) won't work fine for different pages, site color schemes e.t.c :)

I'd rather say that if there is a need for different banners, the text copy should be different - one for webmasters (that's the banner above), and one for programmers - advertising job opportunities, number of projects posted daily, etc.

Banners are usually not designed to fit into the site they will be displayed on (as there's no specific site for this - they are available to grab and that's all), though sometimes there are 2-3 sets available. In case of SL "corporate ID" this could be white banner with blue text - this would be handy if a site owner needs a lighter banner.

but the on the second button 'connecting freelancers' doesn't make too much sense unless it's aimed only at webmasters. perhaps 'connecting freelancers to webmasters' might do the trick so it can be aimed at a wider variety of people?
