Well first thing you needn't repeat the same post in different threads. Second the problem is most probably at your client's end. Ask him what kind of keyboard is he using? It might be that he's using some keyboard which has some other encoding or maybe he's trying out some sort of fonts which are missing or messed up! Those ? marks come up when certain characters are missing and the text is demanding that particular character. If the client is from Europe/South East Asia/Middle East or East Asia, This might be one of the problems with his keyboard. So, ask him to get a US keyboard and try again and it will work. Rest if its something else then i'm sorry i might be wrong then.

Thanks once again for taking the time to answer me.......I realize this is a competative place... and I appreciate the fact that you realize that me and my small amount of jobs done here is no threat to the track record you already have here! :)

Hi,

I've been wanting to reply but my account wasn't active. Some servers have issues dealing with utf-8 encoded files and show up hidden characters. If you're having problems getting the file to show, try saving it as an ASCII encoded file.

I hope this helps.

is he only having this trouble when he uploads?

if its via ftp try asking him to upload in the other mode..

ie.. ASCII instead of binary

or the other way round
